My Story

Jorge's Bakery is a new artisan sourdough bread home bakery located in Kansas City, dedicated to provide the best and delicious out of the oven bread experience to my community, my friends and my family.
The bakery might be new to some of you, but I have been baking and delivering bread for over 20 years to my family, friends and neighbors, who have enjoyed it very much and have encouraged me many times to open my own bakery; so this is the result of those conversations.
All started when I tried to find a good bakery to buy good quality and delicious bread for my family that did not have a lot of preservatives, but since I was not able to find any in my community, I decided to start baking my own bread.
My sourdough bread has only 3 ingredients, flour, water and salt and a lot of love and patience to let the slow fermentation process do its job.
My passion for good home baking has driven me to create delicious, handcrafted sourdough breads and other breads too using the long fermentation traditional methods with high-quality ingredients.
I take great care in creating my unique recipes and I put a lot of love into every loaf, ensuring a delightful experience for all bread enthusiasts.
My mission is to share the joy of out of the oven, freshly baked sourdough, as well as other delicious breads.
